Granddaughter of both White Gold and the prolific Wiki Wiki -- and daughter of award-winning color champion SRR's Captain Jack USN -- Taciana can lay claim to some pretty impressive bloodlines! Now that she is full grown, we firmly believe she is living up to her incredible potential. Her head is absolutely gorgeous and her conformation is perfect.
Typical of all Tess' crias, Taciana has personality plus. From the day she was born, she has shown independence and curiosity -- whether she's venturing into the barn to see what the 2-leggers are up to, going nose-to-nose with the older girls or wrestling for position at the hay trough. She has matured into a classy young female, with a regal presence that commands attention.
Last year Taciana was bred to HVA Khasino's Bortero (7x Black Champion!) and we were fully expecting a crimpy black cria, but on 7/27/10 we got quite a surprise when she had a crimpy, handsome FAWN cria instead! This little guy's fiber is exactly what you want to see -- tight popcorn bundles at the skin and wonderful color to go along with it.
Taciana has obviously inherited Tess' great mothering skills and abundant milk supplies! A first-time Mom, she has been an exceptionally attentive and patient parent to her cria, and we simply couldn't ask for more. As you may know, this is an incredibly important trait to pass along in the bloodlines, and thankfully, all Tess's girls seem to know just what to do when the time comes.
Taciana will not be bred this year because we are simply running out of space in the pastures, but if you decide to purchase her, we would be glad to breed her to a CGA herdsire of your choice, as well as throw in an additional future breeding.

Tess, out of rare Australian and Chilean bloodlines, has 7 crias on the ground, including medium fawn, dark silver grey, black and medium brown.
Tess is an easy breeder and birther, with ample milk and strong maternal instincts. Her crias have great dispositions, with wonderful fleece and loads of personality.
Tess' sire, Wiki Wiki, was undefeated in his show career and has over 30 crias on the ground with a high percentage of silver and rose greys and blacks. |
